Is Pet Insurance worth having? I have just spent much in my dog and wonder if it would have covered much?
Some races are known to have many problems. You can search the shortcomings of the races (large breeds as German apothecaries get hip dysplasia) (dachounds little back problems) (pugs have problems with the folds in there faces and problems breathing)
If you have a race that is expensive to maintain, it may worth your money to keep your dog safe. Planning for the future, the next time get a mixed breed or dog that comes from resistant material. It is my Minature Pincher 16 + years and so far has only had to they have their shots and check once in a year. (Of course it is a good diet and obtains excellent excersize too) Keep us it treated heart worms, flea protection and give only sweets of occasional. Best investment in a wonderful friend I've never done for my husband and children.
